Through the visceral imagery of a large barrel submerged within an oil-filled box and a naked performer enveloped in cellophane, the artwork unveils a  narrative of societal constraints and female resilience.

By harnessing the symbolism of oil—representing both wealth and exploitation—the performance delves into the multifaceted layers of patriarchal dominance that confine and commodify women. The juxtaposition of the performer’s vulnerability against the industrial presence of oil underscores the delicate balance between agency and subjugation, offering a stark portrayal of the complexities of female autonomy.
